In this site, on the 'Contact
& Info' page, you will find snapshots of my business
cards that represent what it is that I do. For now, a
little of my background...My computer
career began in 1986, as I started working for a small
software company in a database language called PICK. I
worked with this environment off and on through 2002, finally
as an Information Technology Manager. My background for
the last 10 years has been centralized around the Microsoft
family of operating systems and all of the applications that
work with it. |

My
experience with PC's in the past couple of years has taught
me that there is always at least one thing wrong with
every PC. Whether it is some kind of spyware, trojan,
or standard virus, every PC has a problem with it.
Most of the PC's I work with are drastically slower than
they were when they were first acquired. They are
slower because they are communicating out over the internet
behind your back, as a result of 'back-door' programs that
have been loaded. They may be 'stealing' your personal
information or even recording your keystrokes as you type.
For example, my realtor finally decided to have me come over
and perform a 'checkup' on his business PC, and I ended up
spending 4 days at his home 'office' cleaning everything up.
He had 9 viruses, over 350 spyware-related files, and
multiple broken programs and links. Isn't it time you
had a checkup? Go to the contacts page and send your
question to me, and we'll start your recovery online.
Remember, if you have any type of 'on all the time' internet
connection, your system is at risk. I use free
versions of spyware detectors and 'firewall' software, but
you will have to invest, generally, in virus protection.
The time to start is TODAY! |

In January 2003 I began the creation of a
website called
www.PhoenixGolfSource.com,
which would serve the information needs of the golfing
public, here in metro Phoenix and also around the world, for
those traveling here for business or pleasure. I have
become proficient in many aspects of web-design, including
graphics, structure, and site hosting concerns.
My background is
complete system or network administration for businesses
with 10 to 100 or more users. The focus of keeping
Microsoft Windows servers and workstations up and running is
quite a task for small businesses to keep up with, not to
mention 'update patches' and anti-virus software management.
Please feel free to contact me with any system-related problems, and
we can even work out a maintenance schedule for your network. |
